Running in the rain.

Did you ever try to run in the rain? It is cold and the wind blows in your face. Your shoes and socks are wet. If you step into a puddle, the cold feeling shoots up in your legs. Your clothes are beginning to be heavier with each step you take. Coldwater is dripping down your face.

I had a period in my life when I was in a dark place. Running helped me to bounce back.

It taught me self discipline, resistance and to believe in myself again. I went out every morning and just did laps around the beach.

For me running is uplifting. Nobody is around. You can think more clearly about things that need to be done. And I am grateful that I can go out and run. Just fighting with the elements is a great feeling. It helps my bones and muscles to be stronger and helps with my body weight. And when you get back from your run and take off your cold and wet clothes, you have a sense of achievement, which is hard to take away. Just stand in front of a mirror. That mirror will smile back at you. You did something amazing for yourself today.

I will wrap this blog post here. I hope you enjoyed reading through it and consider checking out my other content as well. See you in the next one.
